  1. The old saying is: one side’s “terrorist” is the other side’s “freedom fighter”. Like it or not, terrorism does often work. Various Jewish terrorist groups (like Lehi) did play their part in the lead up to the foundation of Israel. In Northern Ireland, if the IRA hadn’t carried out its campaign of bombings and assassinations, do you think the UK would have bothered to negotiate? And In South Africa, Nelson Mandela was officially a “terrorist”, too.
