The only reason WordPerfect had a “Reveal Codes” function was that it was just about the only word processor that needed one. Other word processors do not use codes embedded in the text stream to define formatting, so there are no “codes” to “reveal”. Surprising how few people know this.

@theParticleGod There are no “embedded codes” in Word or any other current WYSIWYG word processor.

@BrodieRobertson Getting the sign wrong on a term in a formula may be simple to fix, but it could have quite major consequences.

Seems to me it is only Windows users are still fooled by using OpenOffice. All of us on FOSS platforms have embraced LibreOffice.

Do those doubled letters represent longer vowels? I gather “a” and “ä” represent different sounds, too, and each one can be doubled.
