  1. Except that your choice not to be vaccinated can impact the health of others. Sacrificing your own life for your liberty is one thing; are you allowed to sacrifice the lives of others who did not make that choice?

  2. Keeping your liberty involves paying a price. We paid that price through a lockdown. Now that the virus is mostly under control within our borders, we are free to go out and shop and watch movies and attend festivals with minimal risk. Other countries that were not willing to undergo that kind of sacrifice, who simply insisted on having their liberty without understanding the consequences of that, are also paying the price, but in a more prolonged and painful way.

  8. We now have two approved vaccines for SARS-CoV-2, with more on the way. Remember, these followed on from the work already done on a vaccine for SARS-CoV-1. By the way, we don’t actually know if the vaccine stops a person from being infectious. So if you are not vaccinated, you might be at risk of getting the disease from somebody who is. Have fun.
