  3. Formula One isn’t about going as fast as possible -- leave that to NASCAR. To most people outside the US, motorsport is about smarts, not going flat out. It’s not about going round and round in circles, it’s about outmanæouvring the opposition. American motorsport is so dangerous that somebody dies every few years. That doesn’t happen in Formula One.
