  3. It was never a reality because the US was never an honest broker like it claimed. Well, now the truth is out, and we can all finally, officially, admit to something that was blindingly obvious from the beginning. Well, the US was not a complete waste of time. Obama, to his credit, let Security Council resolution 2334 pass. That identifies the single biggest obstacle to peace between Israel and Palestine, and that is the Zionists’ continual stealing of Palestinian land. If we can put a stop to that, things might have a chance of progressing.

  5. Seems like the US is trying to have it both ways: on the one hand, it is claiming the right to do what it wants as a “sovereign nation”. But on the other, it is claiming it can still be an honest, neutral broker in Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations. And it is quite surprised and angry to discover that just about the entire rest of the world does not see things that way. It looks like the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was taken to satisfy internal US political lobby groups. Fine. But don’t expect that such actions will be free of consequences for your international reputation.
