  2. You’re assuming that 🇺🇸 is somehow superior to 🇬🇧 for having broken away from the latter. When you remember that the secession allowed 🇺🇸 to hang on to its slaves for over half a century longer than the 🇬🇧 empire, maybe you see things in a different light. But yes, that, too, is a parallel to how evolution really works.
