@anthonysvenforsic4760 Greetings to 🇺🇸 from 🇳🇿, where we are not suffering an entire September 11 worth of Covid-19 deaths per day. Where we have a Socialist healthcare system, which is the only kind of healthcare system that works. And which can only be paid for by taxes. Because lives are more important than money.

@dewayneyoung7019 Our 🇳🇿 economy has been bouncing back since we managed to achieve our Covid-free bubble and end our lockdown. Things are still a bit fragile as you can imagine, but we have been able to go to shopping malls and cinemas over Christmas, and even attend open-air summer music festivals. We had a general election just a little bit before yours, and our leader got her job contract renewed for another term. Unlike yours.

@dewayneyoung7019 7% of the 🇺🇸 population has now come down with it. A September 11 worth of deaths per day. Ambulance crews being told not to bother bringing in patients who are too far gone and are just going to die in hospital anyway. State governors calling in refrigerated trucks to hold the excess bodies, with the morgues all full to overflowing. If you think that’s all a hoax, then you can go and sit in the corner with your security blanket and suck your thumb, and maybe let the adults take responsibility for the country.

@davidli9887 Israel is kind of a poor example to follow, given their chronic political instability. A better one would be Germany. The proportional system there was put in place after WWII to ensure that a dictator could never take power again. And it has worked so well, we here in NZ copied it. Time for the US to give it a try?

@hilal_younus Seems like the Republican Party is severely split over Trump. If they were to jettison him and his supporters, it will likely destroy the Party. That’s the problem.
