  1.  @danilooliveira6580  There’s another problem, and that is the latency. The probe isn’t going to delete data from its transmit buffers until it’s received an acknowledgement from here on Earth that that data has been successfully received. Multiply the time it takes for the data to cross the gap by the data rate, and you will see how large the transmit buffers are going to have to be.

  2.  @kahlzun  Nobody is quite sure. GMT could be UT1, or it could be UTC. That’s why we don’t use GMT any more.
