  2.  @thehoeslaper  Which country was this? I was paying NZD80 for a box of 5 DVD-R discs for use with the “Superdrive” in my 2002-vintage G4 Imac, and never had to “show ID”.

Way back then, I implemented a system for a client for automatically generating videos in various formats (including for inclusion in DVD-Video, and playing on Ipod). Thank goodness for FFmpeg’s ability to convert anything to anything!
