  1. kinda wish you explained the streissand effect a little bit better because the whole story behind it is hilarious but relevant to what it really means. Streissand effect came from when her newly bought mansion at the time was photographed by a research team who were only documenting the erosion on the california shoreline, literally nobody knew Barbara Streisand owned the property up until her lawyers discovered the images they were only accessed twice, then twice more by her lawyers, to clarify nobody even knew it was her house but because Barbara lost her shit she called attention to herself and the property by making a legal case of it and then of course those 4 hits on the photo ended up getting over a million views. But a TLDR version of the phrase is "You try to hide something that nobody knew about before but the mere act of hiding it draws attention to the very thing you were trying to hide in the first place"
