I dunno why you're surprised, people advocate for these tech sites then they mainline Youtube anyway. Even Styx cant avoid streaming on it, taking superchats and having Yt take 30% of that, which defeats the point of him not taking ad revenue. Hes contributing to the exact thing hes against and yet he cant see why people arent moving. Ultimately the solution isnt alt-tech its no-tech. Seriously ever consider maybe you dont need social media? How many of you moved to an alternate platform, like an alt Facebook or Twitter then felt no reason to use it because nobody you know is on it? These platforms are ultimately for sh**posting and to shill brands now, they have no purpose for the common man.

@darunealbane you can game on it easily, it just doesnt ship with dxvk and need to set up protonGE but i wouldnt game on anything debian, too much hassle, thats what mainline Arch btw is for.
