I live in NC and you're right about all of it, the cities just keep getting fatter and fatter and bluer and bluer, lots of them are transplants from the north east who bring their shit politics with them when they're also trying to escape them. My county used to be red just a few years ago and it's starting to turn blue for the first time in ever, thankfully our governor has his hands tied and has a hard time trying to make social policies a thing.
