I think abortion should just be illegal but the compromise is to leave it legal but remove all government funding from it because I honestly don't believe they can turn a profit without the subsidies. Just because it's "cheap" isn't a justification to just use tax payer money for it, it obviously makes way too many people in this country uncomfortable to know that their tax dollars are going towards that alone, also why does it take government involvement at all to fund these things anyway? if you would go so far as to make it an option on your tax form why not remove it from the taxes completely and leave it up to the private sector to fill the need if it's so needed? I think pro-choice people are well aware that they can't fund it hence why they're so afraid to leave it up to chance. And lets face it, planned parenthood doesn't solve the underlying problem, we need to be asking ourselves what it takes to teach people their responsibility to their genitals and their offspring, I would rather use that money for facilities for unwanted children and positive messaging about wrapping up your cock and taking contraception, because this whole "It's okay if i get pregnant I'll just obliterate the baby" attitude is not healthy for our society, sometimes Styx it's more than just a numbers game, for a spiritualist of your caliber I'm surprised at how callous you can be on this subject. I for one would like to see the value of the family unit restored, you can't get that back if BFG blasting your children is just a typical afternoon.
