Personally I forgot about the youth vote, but thinking back on it yeah the abortion issue was way too perfect of a "call to arms" for younger voters because you know they always come out fresh faced and clueless thinking they're going to "change the world". Because they're in a position in their lives right now where they aren't paying for their own gas and food they can prioritize something like abortion over being able to afford food. I gotta say I do love the salt from people acting like our generation didn't do the same shit, Gen X as well, everyone's so concerned about the future of the country but do not hesitate to "other" the younger generation lol. I was initially taken in by obama but didn't go to the polls for him, something just didn't feel right so I stayed home and smoked pot lol or maybe I just wanted to smoke pot. Good decision. My first time actually voting was for Trump, and I'm probably not going to vote again after '24, I'm just here for Trump.. then it'll go right back to politics as usual from 2000-2016 as indicated by Desantis' behavior as of late, the RINO NeoCon establishment called him up, and Ron picked up the phone, I don't trust that so he pretty much means nothing to me. I don't care if that's true of most republicans, that's why I'm only here for Trump, he doesn't need their money.

  2.  @bomara66  Pretty much, people like this can't do the bare minimum and they can't explain why their decision to do even less than vote does anything, so naturally people ignore them and just keep doing what they were doing because I don't think even these "don't vote" people thought through the crap they're saying.

Nah, it's a spiritual contract between you, your spouse, and God.. or it used to be but you took that power from God and gave it over to the federal gov't now you're trying to appeal to a government over something that should be exclusive to religious groups. Yall killed marriage a loooooooong time ago, now it's distilled down to a tax write-off. So until you're arguing that government shouldn't be in marriage at all, you're just wasting yours and everyone else's time.
