People are just abusing the technology right now, its not in folks best interest to educate you on it if they can sell you nothing for something, so they'll let you think that its all about artwork lol The energy "issue" is non-existant. Nobody stopped using social media, or video hosting sites like this because "save the planet" lol all these massive server farms all over the landscape and NOW theyre worried about energy consumption lmfao.

  4. Best way i can explain NFTs and the proper use of them is to put it in video game terms. You know when you complete a quest? the game will give you a hidden "token" on the backend indicating you completed it letting the game know to give you access to the next stage of the game. NFTs are essentially that, none of them have value on their own, the "person" selling the NFT has to give it value and chooses to back it with SOMETHING like a service. Currently people are just abusing the system and scamming each other because nobody gets this concept, so theyre just selling links to each other lol. NFTs have a VERY specific application, i always thought they'd be awesome for software licensing.
