Not to mention these people think Venezuela is starving because of the US when it was Hugo Chavez that decided to invest solely in oil thinking there would never be a day that the US didn't need their oil. We simply stopped buying from them and due to the lack of diversification they're perpetually in the red.

@nickolasmagos219 the sanctions were applied after Maduro began abusing his people, Venezuelans were already flocking to the US due to the starvation cause by Chavez and perpetuated under Maduro, try again. I'm not going to tell you the US doesn't benefit from the regime change but at this point its such a win win for everybody its beyond mattering.

Put this in perspective, there's no reason the sanctions would make it impossible for the Venezuelans to feed themselves, look at NK completely isolated and can still internally sustain it's own population 100x better than you guys can and they're like 50 years stuck in the past and they're under insane sanctions and cut off from China. Accept it, your country did not invest in anything other than the oil trade, it doesn't produce anything else, you didn't diversify your markets when it was in your best interest to do so and now you're paying dearly for it. Maybe you should campaign for Californians to buy diesel trucks instead of Hybrids and EVs.
