  2.  @Germoney2000  Lol no, from first hand experience you don't realize just how much your taxes would have to go up to gut the infrastructure they already have, and replace it with new hardware and software. They're outdated because they have to stretch a budget, you don't just buy a set of new computers and voila. I used to work with DHHS in my state in building hospitals, you don't even know the half of it. Not to mention the bureaucracy really slows things down to a crawl, hence why government run anything is mostly a terrible idea.
