  2. Yes your privacy is an illusion, most people dont go through the effort i would go through just to minimize my footprint and make it hard to tie my habits to me. If you're on windows or mac, use any electron/chrome based web browser, use practically any online services you dont have any privacy and your VPN service isnt doing anything for your privacy either lol its just another datapoint to your digital fingerprint. Theres too much for the average person to learn to secure their identities and its not something you can buy. (Basically i have my own home servers and i know where my data is, most people dont do this)
