Well.. it's this kind of "education" that lead me to realize I have a half sister 10 years older than me that was put up for adoption and caused my mother torment for a good 40 years before reconnecting with her. They kept everything so incredibly vague and it was up to the kids to feel their way through the veil because their parents were too afraid to approach the topic directly. I'm glad today kids are provided diagrams and a direct explanation of the consequences of their decisions. It wasn't "better" back then, ya'll just didn't talk about anyone who fell through the cracks, out of sight out of mind.

What's important is bringing a child into this world and not being prepared for it, yet something like that takes a back seat here. Even in the comments lol.
