It's not completely the leadership, it's not the CDC either, it's the supply chain. The US doesn't manufacture much anymore, including medical needs, its all over in.... *drumroll* China! Not only are the chinese not going to work, they're also not shipping our stuff to us, they took all the medical supplies for themselves. This is ultimately the result of decisions made 30 years ago. Basically there's only so many tests we can produce in a short amount of time with very few manufacturing plants on the country. Just think, if the WHO didn't screw up so bad we might've actually trust their advice enough to follow their testing method lol.

Tbf the WHO dropped the ball so hard to begin with I really don't blame anyone for not trusting them now since their advice was so terrible, that being said, the CDC hasn't faired much better because our moron parents outsourced all our medical manufacturing out to China 30 years ago so it's not so much the CDC itself that's screwing us, it's the supply chain, we rely on China giving us our stuff and they don't want to give it up, lover's quarrel. I suspect we'll be getting a divorce soon lol. So now all we can do in the US is isolate ourselves while we try to pick up the slack. Don't get us started on our issues with China, man... that's a whoooooole other story lol
