Of course it's the parent, you don't get a near zero GPA without the school blowing up your phone, you definitely KNOW about it. She should've been hitting him with a switch years ago. That being said I'm not entirely sure the kid is missing much, I graduated HS back in '09 and back then public school was totally useless, i spaced all my classes, skipped them all the time, would come in and blow through the standardized tests and pass them anyway, I see no excuse for not being able to graduate today the bar is so freakin' low but at the same time I can't say that it's worth their time either. She needed to deal with her kid but at the same time our education system needs to have some actual value. Honestly if I were him, I'd "drop out" then test for my GED, has the same exact value as a HS Diploma, aka Jack sh**.
