  1. I second the idea, I'd like to see some long term comparisons between the 3 branches, "they" say sid breaks more but Debian is so rock solid..wtf does that even MEAAAAAAN?!

I'm always jazzed for any Linux Mint love, I don't use LM and haven't for quite some time but I got to know Ubuntu through the project back when it was a protest-distro when Ubuntu wouldn't ship certain codecs with their ISO. Linux Mint is the one and only Desktop Distribution that I actually recommend to newbies because i believe in their mission and absolutely love how they go about making it. These days I build off of Debian proper in a tty but I wouldn't be doing that without Linux Mint making those early days super comfortable for me.
