  4. just start with mastering 3 things, navigation, writing (insert/append), saving and exiting. Vim isn't complicated, it's just a different workflow that ends up feeling way more natural than how you had been doing it previously which is why people have these insane eureka moments with the software and suddenly feel the need to preach the gospel lol.
