  3. I dunno this whole series has just been the same thing we already knew this whole time "Linux isn't for ding dongs" and it just gets stated over and over and over again. Everything on linux requires some configuration, requires some tinkering, especially when you're running it through a compatibility layer like Wine+Proton. That being said, gaming on linux is fine, anti-cheat is a different story and that's just due to your typical lack of support and yet again isn't Linux's fault. The "Year of the linux desktop" is just never going to happen, people want 1 button solutions, they don't want to think about anything when using a machine. The ideal operating system for these people you're chasing isn't Windows, it isn't Linux, it's not Mac. It's a freakin' web browser. Basically it'll never be the "year of the linux desktop" because desktops are becoming more a niche market by the day.
