Meh, I'd do the same thing, there's just something funny about how you can make so many people absolutely lose their minds over the most minor of things, those types of people are absolutely the most fun to agitate. People using this as a reason to switch distros is just the gift that keeps on giving lol imagine unironically telling someone that this was your reason for switching lmao too damn funny.
