All I care about is them telling me there's telemetry so I can opt-out of using their software altogether, I will NEVER encourage or support it and I will drop software in a heartbeat if I get a whiff of data collection going on anonymized or otherwise. I don't trust ANYBODY with ANY of my Data, that is exactly why I use Linux in the first place. Personally I don't give a fck what the excuse is to use it, there is no excuse good enough for me.

  2. I just flat out refuse giving out any telemetry data, I dunno what people are doing with it and all I have to go on is them saying "trust me" well... funny thing about that I fck'n dont.

  3. Its bad for developers because I wont use their software if its got telemetry in it 😂 I dont care if its harder on the devs, fck off with that sh**.
