people want to decentralize from systemd, there's plenty of good reason for it

wouldn't have made a difference, he still would've screwed it up. You see his latest where he tries to replace cells in camera batteries? He presented himself as an authoritative source, messed up the welding process multiple times, treated handling the batteries like they were radioactive and over reacted to bad contact, it was supposed to be about "right to repair" but ended up closing the entire video with demanding battery manufacturers to let them buy their batteries differently lol. People should just stop holding Linus' opinion in such high regard, he just has no idea what he's doing and makes it seem like it's everybody else's fault.

Well it also does the same thing the ranking websites do with all the checkmarks under each distro listed, it looks just as confusing to a completely new user. I think the problem is the vast majority of the distros are pretty much the same but it's still very possible to pick one then end up having an experience so bad that it just destroys all interest altogether, like somebody should be on ubuntu but got dropped into an arch prompt lol

Well yeah, you're told to oversell yourself for the job you want, so of course this happens lol

Look, we only take high quality bait here, you can't be peddling this Traaaaaaaaaaash

There's no point in gaming on anything other than Arch tbh, all distros CAN do it but you need that zen kernel and those daily updates to really get a bang for your buck

I dunno, it doesn't seem to clear the air any more than the ranking websites lol I don't get who this is for. If you're new and you don't know what you're doing this tool won't help you at all, if you're not new and you do know what you're doing, you probably won't use this. The best use for this is to find obscure distros that don't use systemd that you probably don't want to install even in a VM anyway.
