  1. Lack of communication isn't a problem, it's a feature. Rule #1 about the GNOME team is they don't care what YOUR problem is, it's just that simple. GNOME will do whatever GNOME wants to do and whether you like it or hate it is solely your problem. You'd think that attitude wouldn't work but... here we are.

  2. I have never understood why people seem to think GNOME cares, historically GNOME has never given a sh** about anyone and just did whatever they wanted to do. A community formed around it and just follows it around, but it seems like the community around it has to face this lesson repeatedly lol
