I don't think any genuine atheists exist in the west, they gravitate to whatever is convenient for them and for some reason it's important for self-proclaimed atheists to pick and choose what to attack. I'm not religious either, I acknowledge that I am spiritual, but I would never identify as an atheist or with any other atheist for being an atheist, besides that's how religions form lol
