I've never seen a person attack the NRA without attacking the 2nd Amendment and at that point you don't have an argument and there's nothing to debate or listen to, the 2nd amendment isn't going anywhere it's a right granted to me by GOD and assured to me through the US Constitution, it was specifically written the way it was so jackasses like you couldn't "reinterpret" it's meaning centuries later. Seriously, what country do you people think you live in that you would think a people who constructed a country and culture out of war against Tyranny would suddenly give up any of those rights for ANY reason?   2. Also no a Militia is not the Military, it is a body of citizen soldiers which is not the same thing as a conventional military force, "a regulated militia" is a well armed citizens army. Besides when it was written the US didn't even have a fuckin' army. Besides why would a people obsessed with the decentralization of government use this ONE amendment to give the federal government a full monopoly on violence in the union? Makes no sense.
