  8.  @lj3276  Incorrect! He released the information without redacting the names of people working covertly for the U.S. in places like Iraq. There is a documentary about what happened around these events. One of the people interviewed claimed when Assange was made aware of the sensitive nature of some of the classified information, his response was something like "they're working with the enemy" (meaning the U.S.) and then he knowingly dumped all the information on WikiLeaks without redacting or removing anything knowing he could be putting lives in danger.

  13. ​ @9219831 He is not a journalist's a**hole! He is former computer hacker who wants to stick it up the U.S. He elicited highly classified information and then published it without redaction. This is espionage and a crime. He deserves everything that happens to him!
