But this narrative that the European countries went in and destroyed peaceful, benevolent societies where everyone co-existed in some perfect utopia is rubbish! A lot of these cultures were war-like, violent and cruel ie: human nature. Slavery was common and not a concept that Europeans introduced. Every other race and culture is allowed to be proud of their warrior history EXCEPT Europeans, who dominated all of them. It's rank hypocrisy.
