  1. Some of this had to be staged for instructional videos. Too many people just happened to be nearly mowed down by automobiles. Then there's the woman in the flowered dress at 2:33 boarding the streetcar. She's dropping her stuff as people are pushing and shoving behind her. There's also the lady at 2:58 giving the guy that evil stare who's looking over her shoulder. That can't be real.

  2. These old restored films are interesting. I wonder where these come from. Were people just mounting cameras around town, in cars, and so on. many decades ago watching random people and traffic move around?
