I guess Alaska Airlines passed the test. It's basically impossible to force open a locked cockpit door from the outside. He won't be getting a pilot's license.

Neodymium magnets are very powerful. They can be dangerous too. You can pinch off your fingers if you're not careful. This is not the most intelligent use of such magnets. Question to the TV news people: Is that really a bridge?

She immediately went to another Home Depot after starting the fire. Was she going to do the same thing again on the same day? There would be no Home Depots left in Spokane. :/

A community grocery store is now a superstore?

Just before watching this video I got a scam text that I just deleted. I don't use Zelle, nor have I ever signed up for it, so it's impossible somebody is using Zelle on my account. I also just got an email from "Wells Fargo" telling me to click on a link to verify my information. That one was easy to identify as fake. It had the Wells Fargo design, but the email subject had Wells Fargo spelled as "WellsFrago." I would think Wells Fargo would know how to spell the company name. Once in a while I get a scam email that starts with "Dear Costumer." No, I don't make costumes for a living.

I saw the title and though it was the first Starbucks (at Pike Place Market) that unionized. I wish the workers well, but I always wonder what it the long-term benefit of a places like Starbucks unionizing. Starbucks, McDonald's, Peet's Coffee, etc., have high turnover. Most jobs are stepping stones. It's not like unionizing an automobile plant, where employees stick around for decades. Unless the employees are thinking about management, they probably won't be around for long. That makes keeping the union going difficult.

It's amazing she survived, let alone just minor injuries that allowed her to fly off to China. Unless she decides to come back to the U.S. on her own, I doubt there will be a way to get her back. I think she was going faster than 100 mph. You don't see Indy 500 racecars skidding like that sideways, and they're going twice that speed.
