  2. There are plenty of YouTube videos documenting Greyhound in the U.S. This isn't just Cleveland, and this isn't the 1950's anymore. If you plan on taking the Greyhound bus for intercity travel, be prepared for the worst, or should I say be prepared for the more than worst.

  3. This has been going on since the invention of the curb. What they painted didn't look like it would last for long. Some cheap spray paint and stencils. Worth about $2.

  5. But you have lots of biergartens. :) Several years ago I was in Hamburg, where it's been said the hamburger started. When I was in Hamburg, I ate at McDonald's. Now that was a big mistake.

  6. I once worked at a Taco Bell and had quite a few hearing impaired customers. Basically we had a pad of paper and pencil on the counter ready, just for these instances. I communicated with many customers this way, because I don't know sign language. Even if customers didn't know how to write English, they could draw pictures of a taco or burrito, or even point to items in the menu. It's not difficult to communicate this way, since it's just transacting a fast food order. I'm not going to put this employee down, but really, he's not a hero for doing this. Nobody in our restaurant was ever featured in the newspaper or television news for helping a hearing impaired customer. It's just something you do.

  7. The snowplow driver either didn't care, or was more than dumb. Didn't it occur to him that throwing the snow and debris on the other side of a busy highway doesn't accomplish anything, because then that side of the road then needs to be plowed? It's just common sense, along with being dangerous.

  8. The reporter didn't mention how much the painters were asking. The quality of their work is poor. I wouldn't pay more than a $1.50 for that.
