  2. The phone now can be had from $100 - $200 less than $699 with some looking. That said, I bought one because it had a MicroSD slot. That was important to me. I don't get why few high-end phones don't include that. The phone manufacturers will soon have us conditioned that a $1,000 phone is a cheap phone. On top of that, Apple has a reliable cult of iSheep, that must have their latest small group phones, that come out about once a year. When I was a kid, there was no such thing as a cell phone. There were car phones, that only a select few "important people" stuck in their cars. A mobile phone back then was finding a pay phone. That was it.
