I have Windows 10 and 11 on different laptops. I don't see where 11 has made my life any different. The old laptop I have with 10 on it doesn't have the hardware to support an upgrade. I'll still use it, but eventually it may not turn on one day. Stuff breaks. I think I remember once Windows XP ended support, there were one or two big emergency patches, that Microsoft did push out even though support ended. Anyway, this might be some big conspiracy between the software and hardware makers to force customers to keep buying new stuff.

One thing that is a big hole in this person's question, is he didn't say he had 2FA enabled for this account. Maybe he forgot to mention he had this, but remember, it's a must these days. Most all banks now require this. If your bank doesn't, enable it.
