18 and 19 is an adult. I bet they have teenagers working at the location. Do their parents need to come to work with them?

In the city I live in, there are signs that there's no eating or drinking on the subway or light rail lines. OK, some don't go by the rules, but the trains are relatively clean. With a donut shop right on the platform, you're just asking for spilled coffee on the seats and floor along with donuts and other crap. More people will end up sitting and slipping on it. And I'm not even including people getting into fights and throwing hot coffee on each other. After all, this is New York. It's better to have such businesses in the stations, not right on the platform, although the rats, mice, ants and roaches in the subway system will sure be happy with the new coffee shop.

I agree. It's in the tour books as one of those must-do attractions. I'm not a New York City resident but have ridden the tram well before COVID as a tourist. Of course, tourists should know once you get to Roosevelt Island, there's nothing over there to do.

I'm assuming this is another tour that gives you a boat ride. If they say they'll leave you off and pick you up from Ellis Island and they don't, then it's fraud. Obviously they can't do that. I wouldn't say it's a scam because they're actually offering a boat ride and not saying they are leaving you off and picking you up from the island. Buyers need to be aware. Alternative tours like this aren't just unique to New York City.

People would try to cheat even more in the carpool lanes. More stuffed animals that look like people in the passenger seats.

That wasn't a drive-thru.

Reporter: "Mr. Santos, did you survive an assassination attempt?" Santos: "Yes I did." Reporter: "Do you have any proof?" Santos: "I'm still alive."

Name any rail public transportation system in the country, and you have people not paying. It's the same thing in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, Dallas, etc., etc.

The end came when Eddie Lampert gutted the company, although Sears probably would have died anyway. A Sears actually reopened in Burbank CA, but this store, and the remaining, are basically zombie stores. Just clearance and other other poor quality merchandise they want to get rid of.

What's the chances of an air cushion working from a jumper 31 stories high?

They talk like New Yorkers. What's 'da problem?

It depends on the place. If someone is videoing Taco Bell, who cares. Some fancy place where people are paying $200 a plate, that's a different story.

At least the weight was correct. DEA doesn't even need to weigh it. If the police asked him to take a bite of his "tasty cake" to prove it was cake, would have he?

@donotsupportterroristgroups Yep. Just clean up the mess by rolling it up. :/

In L.A. I don't think there is any handle on the trains that stops them (light rail or subway). There's a handle by the exit doors. I've seen people pull them many times. Most don't even know better. It doesn't stop the train. If the train is already stopped, someone just pushes it back in and the train is good to go.

So why doesn't YouTube, TikTok, etc., immediately filter out and remove these videos? They have the technology. They seem to identify something that is copyrighted really quick. Why not this? They many money from this as people lose parts of their bodies and others die.

Heads turn when people see me walking down the street wearing my $20 Casio.

@chiloveradiouncut Thanks.

They may say 100 new stores are opening, but don't mention that is offset by stores closing. :/
