If somehow the plane suddenly lost power, wouldn't the plane glide for a while and not just drop like a rock? There are stories on news of planes running out of gas that don't just drop out of the sky. There's an incident in Canada many years ago of a refueling mistake that caused a commercial aircraft to run out of fuel. With the skill of the pilots, the plane made it to a runway at a closed airport. In that incident the instruments didn't all go dead, but the plane still was able to be flown.

Is this going to be some sort of index ETF that we can trade? Right now, it's seems we're just talking about an index, like the Dow Jones average.

@shadowvendor1157 That was it. I need to look that up again but it was something about the amount of fuel needed was written in gallons but the ground crew thought it was liters. That will do it. You got to check those gas gauges before taking off.
