  2. They were told these were "exercises," along with the rest of the world. Some didn't even know they entered Ukraine. If the Russian government can't be honest with their soldiers, how does anyone think they're honest with anything? As I'm typing this, there's that long convoy north of Kyiv. It's full of thousands of other families' sons. This can only end bad on both sides, and Putin does not care.
