  1. Nobody expects a bank ATM to break? They break all the time. I wouldn't put a whole pile of cash in an ATM for this reason. A long time ago I was in line at an ATM. The guy in front of me was sticking in a whole bunch of cash. The cash was in horrible shape. Not as bad as a newspaper going through the washing machine, but bad. He managed to jam the ATM that it went out of service. I was pissed-off since I had to go find another ATM.

  2. I don't get it. She was expecting a bonus of $3,134, Kroger says they mistakenly gave her $6,653 but now wants back $6,794. That's a NEGATIVE bonus of $141. If she gave crappy service and stale baked goods to customers all year so she would never get this "bonus" she would have been better off. Anyway, Kroger should let their employees keep the money. The company can afford it and their employees aren't exactly earning Wall Street bankers' salaries.

  3. "Federal tax dollars" are really not "your tax dollars." After decades of deficits, borrowing and printing money that will never be repaid, the term "your tax dollars" should be dropped. Nobody is paying anymore. Borrowed money is paid with more borrowed money. There might be some money due, in a hundred years, but we'll all be dead.
