  1. They must be using something in addition to GPS for driverless car testing. 5 meter accuracy just wouldn't cut it. If you're 5 meters off while driving down a road, you could be going against traffic on a two lane street, hit parked cars, or even drive off a cliff. Not good.

  2. I can't believe how many points of failures have to be avoided for this to work. Even though they designed and practiced things to no end, and even if they avoid every point of failure, all it takes is some tiny space rock to hit this thing in the wrong place. I just hope all goes well.
