  1. My guess is this Lake Huron object was something somebody launched locally. I heard it was the size of a car. Can hot air balloons that small be launched from Asia and be navigated all the way to the Great Lakes? Anything is possible, but I don't think so. With the way this issue has become a political football, hot air balloon enthusiasts can make something, launch it from their backyard, create pandemonium as the Air Force scrambles their jets to shoot it down. If course, it could be space aliens. If so, their technology exceeds by a thousand times, anything we have on earth. They've managed to cross light years of distance to get here, and then send down these primitive balloons to disguise their advanced knowledge. They won't send down their big space ship to take over the planet, until they're sure they've confused earth people enough with these wild goose chases of balloons.
