  1. I'm not going to comment about all "this winning," but did somebody declare the coronavirus pandemic over? They're packed in tight, and of course, without any masks. Doesn't the President care about his family members, or anyone else, who are crammed in there?

  2.  @bubbawatson1852  This isn't a free speech issue. He's already been found liable. You can't yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater for no reason that causes a panic, and claim free speech.

  3. That design kind of looks like an office building cafeteria. The seating table at 0:10 looks like what you see in a pre-school, where the kids are painting or playing with toys together. Is that what customers want? I always thought a coffee shop is with darker colors, with a warm and coziness, where people can relax and chat. This has the look and feel of the breakfast buffet at the Holiday Inn Express. Those chairs must have all the comfort of being strapped into the electric chair, just before they turn on the juice.

  6. I see why an attorney would represent Alex Jones (just because he can earn a lot of money), but it ends there. His attorneys must want to strangle him, when he talks trash about the parents on his YouTube channel after court sessions, and then see that presented by the plaintiffs the next day. I hope all his bankruptcy petitions are denied, and what damages are being sought increased 20 times.

  7. People are being burned because they listen to "experts" like Tom Lee who keep repeating the same line: "Bitcoin will zoom" and then quote some astronomical price prediction. People then believe this thinking this guy knows something more than they do. The thing is, these are only guesses, that they base on an assortment of theories. My guess, your guess, anybody's guess, are as good as the "experts." The thing to keep in mind is Bitcoin, and all the other Altcoins out there, have yet, and may never be, a dependable currency. Right now it's a bet, like going to the casino. You may be right, or you may be wrong, and you got to be prepared for eventual losses if you are wrong. That said, Bitcoin is not really a deflationary currency, based on a limited supply. Every time this cryptocurrency forks, others do, or other cryptocurrencies are created, the supply increases. All this supply then fights for the same dollars (or whatever currency) people might want to throw at them. We're now awash in crypto.

Anyway, it's in bankruptcy court, and if there is any money left, there is an order of who gets what's left of the crumbs. I'm not sure if proving your destitute puts you any higher up the list.

  20. It's an apartment community, not America's first car-free city. If Tempe Arizona blocked all the streets and declared no cars allowed, then it's a car-free city. While not entirely car-free, there are cities where there aren't cars for the regular residents. I'm thinking of Avalon on Catalina Island. Residents either walk or drive around in golf carts.

  22. Well, CNBC wasted their time covering this "3%." It never happened for a lot of reasons, mainly the SIPC doesn't cover this type of account. Anyway, the interest rate offered today (June 2020) is 0.30%, that is tiny, and enormously below the rate of inflation. Also, don't forget, that 0.30% is taxable income. After inflation, you're way in the hole.

  23. Who reads those zillion page agreements before signing up? Anyway, class actions are easy-peasy for those who join in. Look for an ad by whatever law firms eventually handle it. If you're a Robinhood customer, sign-up for the class action on the website. After about five years, the company settles out of court without admitting any wrongdoing. A year after that, you can expect your $10 check (the lawyers get the rest). "The wonders" of capitalism. :/

  28. It's not bad luck as the reporter said. It's gross incompetence. Three Arrows Capital just declared bankruptcy. As far as Voyager, they're also tied with 3AC in being incompetent. Management must have been totally insane to think loaning out the majority of whatever funds they had to a single company, that being 3AC, was a good idea. Stupid, stupid, stupid. I wish CNBC, other media companies, and the tons of YouTube sites out there that report on these opportunistic a-holes, stop reporting on this stuff like these companies and individuals are the greatest thing since sliced bread. They're run by stubborn idiots who think they can never do wrong.

  33. As we get into the 2030's, electric cars will become more of the norm. Are the electric utilities are thinking about that now? The average amount of electricity per home or business (kilowatt hours used) will sure go up, and maybe by a lot. LED light bulbs can't offset all that. If there's an electrical power surge in demand, either by a hot spell, cold spell, or more electric cars, will we have the power or will all these cars not be going anywhere?

Unless they have advanced survival skills, they'll starve to death in no time. It's cold now, which is also an issue, but as the weather gets warmer, they'll be eaten alive by bugs, not to mention the snow will be gone that supplies what's left for them to drink.
