I didn't watch all of this, but even if this is a superior OS, the odds of it succeeding are quite small. Companies just aren't eager to start writing and maintaining another group of apps to support an operating system that will most likely have only a small following. Windows Phone died, even though when you look at it, it had a lot to offer.
