I think I've reached a point in life where I don't have to choose a hotel on East Hastings. Actually, a couple years ago I stayed at the Pan Pacific on Canada Place. The price wasn't bad, mainly because I was traveling off season in early December. If you can swing that, and don't mind the weather that time of year, just do it. I've even stayed at the Hyatt next to RBC Royal Centre in late October. It wasn't horribly expensive either. Good video.

I'm still locked out of Canada. Hopefully by July 21st, the U.S. and Canada can get to an agreement where vaccinated people from both countries can visit without some sort of quarantine (I'm a U.S. citizen). Hopefully in the Fall I can get to Vancouver again, visit my bank branch, take a drive up Vancouver island, etc., etc.

Hot. I live in the San Fernando Valley. It has got that hot here, but so far not this year, but the hottest part of the year is still to come. :/

The San Francisco cable cars are more of a tourist attraction than an urban transit solution. The monorail in Seattle does serve a purpose. Getting you between Westlake Center (or the light rail station) and the area around the Space Needle/Seattle Center. I've used it. It sure beats walking.

Good video. Us from the U.S. haven't been allowed in Canada since March 2020. Hopefully that ends soon, so I can travel again to Vancouver.

If you're saying this stuff, they aren't secrets. I don't think they've ever been. It's been a couple years since I've been to Vancouver (U.S./Canada COVID-19 travel restrictions), but I'm hoping to pay another visit when these restrictions relax. Going to Vancouver's Chinatown won't be on my list. I think it's crappy over there.

Same down here in L.A. I don't think I can even fly to Vancouver, even if I wanted to, because of border travel restrictions. I've always liked Vancouver airport. Smaller than LAX, but nicer. Nothing lasts forever. Hopefully we'll be doing at least some of the normal stuff soon.
