Donbas has strong ties with russian culture and it's people speak russian. 3. After 2014, Kiev regime started discrimination of russian language and culture all over ukraine. They didn't allow it in schools. So Donbas didn't agree with new policies and decided to separate from Ukraine. 4. Ukraine government sent it's troops to the Donbas, but Donbas fought back. Since then, 8 years Ukranian neo nazi army was intentionally shelling donbas cities and villages, killing civilians.

How many soldiers do you think they need to control whole perimeter of it's area, so no one could sneak in or out undetected? 11 square km is a square with approximately 3.666 km sides (it also can be a rectangle, but never mind), so how many soldiers do you need to fully control a perimeter of (3.666 × 4 sides) 14.444 km? If you put 1 soldier to watch over a 50 meter line (that really short distance), you'd need at least 2800 soldiers. Not really a lot, but I'm sure russians have the map of the plant and they know exactly where to anticipate any attempts of breaking out. So, they seal and wait. Only one possible outcome is that azov will surrender. I see it as full control by the Russians.

  43. Every video of selfdriving Teslas that I watched showed a pretty slow reaction of the vehicle on happenning events and changing conditions. Never have seen a lightining fast reactions as the one you describe. Since Tesla ditched their radar sensors and left only visual data processing, it takes a lot more time to react on anything that changes fast. First they gather images, identify and then the car "decides" what to do next. Reaction can't be "human" fast, cz the car doesn't have reflexes or a feeling of a danger. Analyzing handreds of high resolution images is a slow process and doesn't fit in a split of a second.

Yes, but only for people here, where we have everything already. On Mars, there is no water, no air, no food, no houses, no furniture, nothing. First, let's just calculate how much air and water one person consumes every day. Then, the food. Then, fuel for generating electricity for heat, light, machinary (sun energy is obv not enough), vehicles, robots ect... But it nothing compared to the weight of steel, glass and concrete needed for constraction of giant dome and spaceport for arriving starships. And whose gonna build anyway? Exhausted and sick people in deadly radioactive desert with 37% of earth gravity? What for? Resources? No much resources on Mars. Reaserch? The probes and robots can do it. For tourism? Ha-ha.  No, only for Musk's ambitions, while he stays here and inspire feefteen years old... If we want to do it right, we need: 1. Develop new type of rocket engine that will provide 10 times greater speed, so we can get to Mars much faster than 6 months. 2. Solve Space and Mars radiation problem, so we get to the destination and stay there as healthy as we have been on Earth. 3. Engineer constraction robots with next generation AI, and send them to Mars firts, alongside with materials, so they will build all human life support infrastructure from scratch and make it ready for us. 4. Develop terraforming technologies, build an equipment, send there and start process before people start populate red planet. 5. Solve the gravity issue in space and on Mars. If we do it Musk's way many, many people will die. It is very stupid to send people on 6 months jorney exposed to sun gamma rays and then poison dust of Mars desert, to build extremely complex structures in a third of Earth's gravity and huge day/night difference in temperatures while they are physically sick and emotionally exhausted. That's not just hard, it's impossible.

  59. I wouldn't put it that way. The demand for Tesla cars is not that big, but Elon's fame drives investors crazy, making them think Tesla will be more and more valued in future. That's why investors keep buying shares and gragging the price up. Real demand for Tesla products is pretty average, but comes with a lot of hype.

It's not just about driving expirience. It the price, quality, repear shops, recharge stations in the area and recharge time, prices of features (like FSD) on so on... So, from that point of view Tesla cars have a lot competition on Market. Mostly, people buy what they know and hype what they don't.

In the moment of doubt and fear people convert stock back into money, and by doing it they make the price fall. It goes like a chain reaction or a domino effect. The Market tanks, the net worth of the company shrinks and the owners lose half of their wealth in the span of days. Knowing that, I wouldn't call Musk "the richest man on the planet". Unless he buys gold with all his money, his wealth is only temporary and unsustainable.

And regarding Musk, I think he decided to buy Twitter bcz (1)he needed large amount of cash, (2) Tesla stock was overvalued and ...(3) he wanted to make a publicity stunt. But most importantly, money. Musk wanted to sell large amount of his shares without causing a panic among investors and then, quit the Twitter deal with his "bots" claim. But it didn't work out and he got stuck with Twitter. He wouldn't had cash problem if he had gold instead of shares or at least, if his shares weren't of his own company. Then, he wouldn't care sell them and create a market crash.
