@fangroth. From birth to death everyone has time to spend. Call it a life bank. It can be depleted faster or more slowly depending on "healthy" or "unhealthy" choices. Unfortunately we don't know how much has been deposited in the account,nor do we know the interest paid or penalized for our actions. One thing is certain. The account closes. In engaging with other people I must ask myself is this a useful payment of time? Will it lead to love,growth,understanding and joy in this other? In raising a child,all of this? To be miserly with life,to hoard it without risk, is to waste it. To be monk or Chad. To throw oneself at the world,or women, are just extremes of life expended.
