In the not so distant past women like this who went on diamond foodie dates were called courtesan. I became reacquainted with one that I met through a girlfriend. This"lady" had three "patrons" who set her up in an innocuous business and all visited her weekly.. I met her at a party where she had been invited to meet me. The wall had hit her and run over her. It was an awkward introduction. She had changed her name and become famous for genuine artistic talent. I kept her other identity quiet.
