  1. Freedom of speech is often curtailed during state emergencies or when under attack. The president can declare emergency measures and issue declarations that are counter to the constitution. However, this can cause a furor in elected representatives. The fact that this hasn't happened over the pandemonium shows that a secret of greater magnitude is being withheld by mutual consent and censorship by media is largely in agreement. This seems to transcend the usual greed and corruption. Indeed,greed and corruption is being thrown out there as a red herring to feed the insatiable appetite for truth.
